During spring, there will be a new application procedure for school transport andbus cardsfor pupils in compulsory school.
Guardians can apply via an e-service on the municipality website and loginis possible with e-identification. If you do not have an e-identification, you can get onefrom your bank. This also applies to you with children who already have school transport and bus cards. The new application procedure doesnot apply to the specialschools(särskola)nor upper secondary schools.
All municipalities in Dalarna have been working together with Dalatrafik for some time now in order to streamline the managementof bus cardsand school transport. The goal of thesechangesare, among other things, better planned bus traffic and thus less environmental impact as well as reduced costs.Information on how to apply will be announcedin advancebefore the application is to be made.
